Buffalo Town

from Clawhammer by Bannerman

lyrics

I'll get out of this buffalo town
If the drink don't come and drag me down
I'll get out of this buffalo town

I remember how I used to be
There once was a fella looked just like me
I remember how I used to be

And we all can cry together as one
If the body don't die, then there's something wrong
Why stick around if your time has come?

Come seek my shelter there's a storm outside
Here's a place that you can hide
Come seek my shelter there's a storm outside

We've got to carry each other like soldiers do
Carry each other like soldiers do
Come here I want to stand next to you
We've got to carry each other like soldiers do

When my ship comes in I'll linger still
It pleases me to eat my fill
When my ship comes in I'll linger stil
